President Trump isn’t shy when it comes
to going against the PC culture and proudly standing up for Christian values and freedom
in his speech and actions. This Christmas season, Trump has continued
to stand by Christ, even as Democrats impeach him and even so-called Christian publications
like Christianity Today try to condemn him. In his and Melania’s powerful Christmas
message, President Trump delivered a call for all Americans to “exemplify the teachings
of Christ.” He stated, “While the challenges that face our country
are great, the bonds that unite us as Americans are much stronger. Together, we must strive
to foster a culture of deeper understanding and respect — traits that exemplify the
teachings of Christ.” Breitbart has more to say: President Donald Trump delivered his presidential
Christmas message from the White House on Wednesday, calling for the country to foster
a greater sense of “understanding and respect.” Wishing you all a very #MerryChristmas! May
your day be filled with peace, love and happiness! — Melania Trump (@FLOTUS) December 25, 2019 The president said in a statement, “While
the challenges that face our country are great, the bonds that unite us as Americans are much
stronger.” “Together, we must strive to foster a culture
of deeper understanding and respect — traits that exemplify the teachings of Christ,”
Trump added. President Trump’s comments follow House
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Democrats voting to impeach him, believing that he obstructed
Congress and abused the office of the presidency. Pelosi has waited on sending the articles
of impeachment to the Senate, asserting that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
would not conduct a fair impeachment trial. The impeachment trial will not start until
Speaker Pelosi sends the articles to the Senate. Mediaite also said: President Donald Trump released a Christmas
statement on Wednesday calling for Americans to better “exemplify the teachings of Christ.” “While the challenges that face our country
are great, the bonds that unite us as Americans are much stronger,” the president wrote
in the festive White House release, even as he faces an impeachment trial in the Senate
in the coming year. “Together, we must strive to foster a culture of deeper understanding
and respect — traits that exemplify the teachings of Christ.” He also gave a shout out to members of the
U.S. military for continuing “to fight for our cherished freedoms,” adding, “As Commander
in Chief, I salute them for their service and thank their family members for their shared
sacrifice in this noble mission, especially during the holiday season.”
