As someone who went to beauty school, as long as you warn the client about the damage that will happen with chemical processes, and if the client insists, it is NOT the stylists responsibility.

"I have a good grade of hair…" 🤨 no you don't and if you did that's not the hair you talking about. You had a perm chick. We dont know what your hair looks like 🙄

First of all. Many people, including people young enough to be your kids since you look kind of old, wear wigs so don’t go there. And the fact that you’re still going to damage your hair because you don’t want to feel the age that you look, I feel like she did beg that hair stylist to touch her hair up and now she’s mad cuz she ruined her own hair trying to act young 😒 and if she cared about her hair that much she wouldn’t have been putting chemicals in it in the first place I think

I know I'm late but all of this could've been shut down with the signing of a release form. Some clients don't listen to professionals. So protect yourself legally.

This stylist needed to be reported she literally has no idea what she’s doing I’m a licensed professional and everything she said was BS

I feel like the hairdresser was right and truthful that lady only gave af about how long her hair was and didn’t want to do anything to help it but complain and want shit for free. That mf did some shit to her hair and didn’t say a damn thing and now she wanna blame the lady doing her job. I believe she begged that lady to relax it after she said no. You hair dressers need to document everything with these hoes bc they out for y’all money.

I cant support either side of this. The stylist shouldve known better and so should the woman.
I dye my hair over 12 times a year not including bleaching or extra services. When I sit in a stylist chair or open a box of hair bleach I know exactly how long I waited since the last process. I research the recommendations for wait time. I'm prepared every time for the chance of my hair falling out. It's a risk you cant look over because it happens.
Her pain and suffering is her not taking care of her pride and joy just as much as the stylist did.
Hopefully she learned her lesson and next time will take the recommended steps but I can tell she most likely wont because she had a professional tell her shes making it worse and she is going to continue to do that. I have no sympathy for that woman.

The same thing happened to me, more or less, except the stylist swore up and down that she would be able to do “black hair” LIES! All my hair fell out and the only thing I asked for was candy apple red hair and a style. First she cuts my hair dry then she dyes it and washes it out. Not only did the color not stay THAT DAY but I went from long hair to the middle of my back to looking like a premature chia pet..

I wonder if she still feels the same about wigs now. I feel so bad for her a similar issue happened to me and I was devastated. I ended up going natural over it and learned how to do my own hair.

38 B -2b bacisly any time u bleach blond dark color hair u shock it u have to be real careful not to stress out your hair like that u have to keep it moisturized n use less heat as possible for a while. The stylist should have not dyed it yet. That couple week shit dont mean nothing that die already killed the hair then u burnt with chemicals it probably hot n brittle and just broke off..#overprosessed

I tell you what…. as a stylist I would’ve told her she needed to choose one or the other SIMPLE!!! you can get color, and no relaxer. Or vice versa

I would have dismissed her case because her rebutting the expert advice of getting a wig shows that she did bully the stylist into doing the relaxer despite being warned. It’s a good lesson for her to have had her hair fall out- trust your stylist and their advice- too bad she’s not taking it fully to heart.
Plenty of women wear wigs, even white women, in all honesty it’s probably better to be wearing a wig than to wear weave on damaged hair.

Wigs are my go to they’re cheap when you need them to be and great quality when you need them to be I’ll get a wigs before a get a weave i already don’t like have hair so being able to take it off is a plus

You can look at this chic tell she's going to be problems I wouldn't dare put no relaxer in This Woman's hair. That's a No-No if you got color she should have made her wait a good three maybe four months to be on the safe side and personally if you had color why would you be putting a relaxer anyway you should go with a satin press if need be but I realize that every stylist does their own thing but for me I would have never put color in This Woman's hair and she didn't had a relaxer under no circumstances you know it's going to fall out🤔😲🤑🤢🤐🤡🤡😇☣️‼️❕❗️🤡🤡🤡🤡😇

Her hair fell out because that relaxer touched the bleached portion. First lesson you learn in cosmetology school. Come on now! I’m a stylist, the hair stylist was wrong.

Why is her identity so tied up in her hair? What happened sucks but I think she bullied the stylist into doing what she wanted.

IF YOU HAVE "REAL HAIR"… YOU SHOULD NOT LET A STYLIST THAT WEARS WEAVES/WIGS DO YOUR "REAL HAIR"…

I don't get it when is black women going to learn relaxer on bleached hair don't mix , the stylist should have know that and not do it , the client should have listen to the stylist and not pressure it ,and the judge stop acting like you not black and don't understand what is going on like you don't know what a relaxer is and you don't know color hair will come out it you relax it.🤔

She must not know anything about color chemistry and she can't possibly have a license. Relaxer and lighteners should never be applied to the same hair. It's only one system that I know of where this is allowed but most stylist don't use it because of the cost.

That smirk at the end on her face said it all. It’s all about the money. I don’t think this was the first time this happened to her. Stylist put your foot down on these woman or have them sign off on these treatments they want against better judgment. It will save your ass in the long run.

I’m sorry but the plaintiff is also being an idiot. The man tells you that the sew-in is damaging your hair further and to get a wig and this chick basically says nah smh well deal with the damage then

After her hair fell out in the sink THEN she manipulated the small existing, WEAK hair with a plaited weave. Not a wig to avoid manipulation but WEAVE. The stylists argument is that she asked her for it. SHE is supposed to be the PROFESSIONAL. She should have said NO!

…. if that woman really knew and loved her hair she would have been smarter and known that you literally can’t fucking dye your hair then perm it … that stylist probably told her “ hey bby that’s not a good idea “ and the lady probably said I don’t care just do it.
If she wasn’t ignorant on how chemicals and all that work she would have even put her self in the situation. I feel bad for the stylist
