I Have Kept the Faith – The Apostle Paul Endures To The End

I charge thee therefore before
God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the
quick and the dead at his appearing
and his kingdom; preach the word; be
instant in season, out of season; reprove,
rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering
and doctrine. For the time will come when they
will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own
lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears; and they shall turn away
their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all
things, endure afflictions, do the work of an
evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready
to be offered, and the time of my
departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there
is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which
the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and
not to me only, but unto all them also that
love his appearing.

Paul is my Hero! It's true that people tend to listen to preachers who say only what the people want to hear, discarding truth. It takes a truly humble person to endure rebuke and seek for truth.

I believe that we can learn a lot from Paul's noble example. The way we endure our trials is a reflection of our faith.

Great video! Frankly speaking, I had no clue the Apostle Paul actually suffered death by decapitation. If the video is a true account of how it actually died, then I just learnt something today. His last words are quite profound! I couldn't think of a more enduring dying declaration.

I don't care so much as the negativity people look at the Church; I will keep the faith and I know my cause is just for I have found the restored Gospel and Church of Christ.

May I have courage to go forth,
with the spirit as God's Word leads.
And, if I have to die for the Lord,
Let it be upon my knees.

Some can say that it is not worth it. And Paul didn't throw his life away. You must remember that the devil wants us all to Niglect our religious beliefs, and our Lord. If you do love Him, you will give all. We must have Sión in our hearts, minds, family, etc. It's not difficult . These times are bad and are going to get worse. And we must keep strong till the end. We are not alone, as President Monson said.

Very thought provoking. I thought Paul had died differently. Let us also remember the many Christians in Islamic countries who are presently dying in horrible ways, for their faith.

It is urgently essential that everyone gains the will, spiritual and physical strength along with the ability to endure to the end, no matter what! These are the last days. And our faith will be challenged. But we must stay the course and fight the fight. The adversary will do everything that we empower him with to make us loose our faith. I know that the adversary has no power unless we give it to him. Never dislodge you spiritual armor of salvation, never let your guard down. Above all keep the faith. Things are going to get much worse than you can even possibly fathom. All of us know why we came to earth. It is inherently incumbent upon use to return home with and in the full Grace of Our Heavenly Father! I share these thoughts with all of you in the loving, merciful and powerful name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!

I am glad that besides all the opposition we count with the powerful testimony of prophets and apostles again. In deed God is Faithful and Loving. Amos 3:7

so is written in Romans 14:8……….. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself…For whether we live, we live unto the LORD; and whether we die, we die unto the LORD: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the LORD'S. For to this end CHRIST both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be LORD both of the dead and living.

Paul’s words express how deeply he loved and trusted Jesus Christ. Jesus was his friend and even the veil of mortality could not separate Paul from the Lord, in whom he cherished. I believe he wanted us to know this.

These Bible videos give a good representation of the Bible stories.

When I want to PLAY ALL,  the last ones occur first in Jesus’
life and the first ones occurred later.

can you reverse the order to put the Bible videos in chronological order ?

Good message with nice filming, costuming, and setting. The narration is gratingly and emphatically over-articulated, given the scene that's showing, and the background music choice is epic in quality when the visual subject is in resignation to fate.

I am not sure whether Paul was killed for doing the Lord's ministry ..since Paul had dual citizenship,Roman and a jew,I am not sure whether Romans would kill their fellow citizens…God showed him a vision through a prophet that he would be bound in chains to do the Lord's ministry at the end…

All but one of the disciples all died because they did not deny Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior and being Christian. I say how many us would do this.

That means that you need to remain and obey Lord Jesus, for you to have eternal salvation. Not because he already saved us does not mean we can continue to sin because we are "just humans". As St. Paul said, "finish the race and keeping the faith"

Who would be those that gave this clip a thumbs down. Straight from Satan I would say. It takes a Tru believer to go through with this as shown. Remember the 11 have actually 1st hand experience on life over death. They saw Jesus after he rose from death.

I find a real personal role model in Paul. I used to strongly oppose Christianity, but as soon as it started to make sense to me, I adopted it wholeheartedly, and I'm even considering becoming an evangelist and an apologist.
